Introduction

Carbon Interest Bearing Tokens (assets that start with cib) are interest-bearing derivative tokens that are minted (and burned) when tokens are deposited into (and redeemed from) the lending pool in the CDP module.

Interest collected by the interest-bearing tokens are distributed evenly to holders by increasing the conversion rate with respect to their underlying tokens. This is also known as yield-bearing or value-accruing.
